Compliance Auditing

Compliance Audits are often performed by a third party to ensure that a facility is in compliance with the laws and regulations applicable to the facility's operations. Regulatory requirements vary greatly depending on the location of the facility, site operations, materials managed, wastes generated, and other facility conditions. Additionally, the regulatory landscape is constantly changing and yesterday's management practices are not necessarily adequate today. The value of the Compliance Audit is to ensure compliance with the current, applicable regulations, initiate corrective action if necessary, and avoid regulatory violations or citations should the regulatory authority inspect the facility.

With more than 30 years of experience providing environmental compliance services in various industrial and commercial settings, CETS can efficiently identify the applicable environmental regulations under CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, and other programs, and evaluate a facility's compliance with them. Additionally, CETS is experienced in the evaluation of other regulatory programs affecting a facility including, but not limited to OSHA, FIFRA, and DOT Hazardous Materials Shipping and can evaluate compliance with these programs while performing the Environmental Compliance Audit.
