CETS brings a unique consulting skill set to commercial and industrial entities regulated under environmental laws, as well as project sites undergoing environmental remediation. I have directly performed activities including environmental regulatory auditing, site characterization, laboratory coordination, data management, risk assessment, remediation, and waste disposal on sites in various regulatory venues. This experience base allows me to expeditiously and cost-effectively bring remedial sites to regulatory closure.
PROJECTS
Project work has included managing many large, complex sites using cutting edge technologies under evolving regulatory programs. I have experienced or driven a number of "firsts" in the remediation business. These have included the first superfund site to complete the Superfund Accelerated Cleanup Model process, the first use of Interim Measures to remediate and close a RCRA Corrective Action site, and the first use of a risk assessment to manage PCB waste under the TSCA MegaRule, among others.
CLIENTS
I have worked for numerous large, industrial corporations on complex, multidisciplinary remediation sites as well as providing environmental due diligence and environmental regulatory auditing services. Clients have included managerial, financial, and legal personnel in the steel, aluminum, chemical, aerospace, petroleum, textile, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, and other industries. I have had the good fortune to learn from highly experienced professionals in these industries as well as very talented technical personnel in consulting firms.
ABOUT CETS
I have over 30 years of experience providing environmental remediation consulting services to industrial, legal, and governmental entities. I have a unique technical background beginning my career as a field technician and progressing through project and office management. The majority of my technical training is in Risk Assessment; however, my field experience provides me with a unique perspective on incorporating risk assessment into the remedial process. I excel at planning projects to the ultimate end of regulatory closure and have closed numerous complex sites in my career.
